Photos just don't do this kind of interactive album justice, so check out the video for a better look. Please feel free to go to my YouTube channel and leave lots of positive comments! Comments will help my video gain more visibility, so I appreciate your help.
Once you view the video and decide you'd like to make one of these great albums for yourself, you can purchase the tutorial at my Etsy shop, G. Eileen Studios.

Color Dare #106: Juniper & Sweet Leaf
Welcome to the weekly Color Dare Challenge from Color My Heart. Each Friday the design team announces a color palette for you to use to create your project. You can create any type of project you'd like, as long as you use the chosen colors.
Color Dare #106: Juniper & Sweet Leaf
It's August, so naturally it's time to start thinking about Christmas cards. SERIOUSLY? YES! As you card-makers know, if you wait until the weather turns cold, chances are your Christmas card list will be disappointed this year.
- I embossed a White Daisy (1385) panel with the Damask Embossing Folder (Z1927), layered it on a Juniper (X5752) panel, and then a White Daisy (1385) card.
- I cut a Juniper (X5752) snowflake, a White Daisy (1385) circle, and a Juniper (X5752) spiked medallion using the Artbooking Cricut Collection (Z1906). When attaching them to the card, I used dimensional tape between each layer.
- I added two narrow strips of Sweet Leaf printed cardstock from the Chantilly paper pack (X7163B).
- I added both Bitty Sparkles (Z1263) and larger Sparkles (Z1752)) to the snowflake and the Sweet Leaf strips.
- For the inside of the card, I cut another White Daisy (1385) circle, Juniper (X5752) spiked medallion, and Sweet Leaf strip.
- I stamped the sentiment from the Frosted Cardmaking Workshop stamp set in Sweet Leaf (Z2153) ink in the center.

CTMH Team Blog Hop - The Fleeting Days of Summer

Whether you are just beginning your journey or you came here from Cheryl's Creations with Style, I hope you will continue on until you are inspired by everyone's Summer-themed artwork.
- I started with a White Daisy (1385) card and added two different strips of B&T Duos from the Brushed (X7190B) paper pack and a horizontal strip of Sunset Chevron Washi Tape (Z2005).
- I stamped butterflies from the Your Own Kind of Wonderful (D1627) stamp set with Sunset (Z2191), Juniper (Z2165), and Pear (Z2197) inks.
- I stamped the sentiment and one more butterfly in Black (Z2105) ink on the Brushed (X7190B) paper.
- Bitty Sparkles (Z1263) brighten up the bodies of the solid butterflies.

Gretchen's House (contact me for directions)
Come on by to learn how to make your own custom pendant. I promise you, it is EASY! Crafting experience is not needed, and it's a great project for all ages. Everyone will go home with a decorative centerpiece. It will be your choice as whether or not you would like to make a full pendant for a small materials cost.
If you choose not to make a pendant, you can enjoy the wine, desserts, conversation and an evening with friends. Bring your friends and daughters.
Please let me know if you are able to attend so I can have enough supplies and refreshments for all.
Hope to see you there!
If you can't make it on the 15th, but are interested in making your own pendant, let me know so we can schedule a time to get together.

Color Dare #104: Ruby, Honey & Lagoon
Welcome to the weekly Color Dare Challenge from Color My Heart. Each Friday the design team announces a color palette for you to use to create your project. You can create any type of project you'd like, as long as you use the chosen colors. If you don't have the actual Close To My Heart colors, just use a similar substitute!
Color Dare #104: Ruby, Honey & Lagoon
This week's bold color combo, a twist on the standard primary colors, inspired me to make a quick and easy card with lots of white space. I think the white backdrop allows the colors to really shine!
- I punched a strip of Black (1386) cardstock, glued it over a strip of Honey cardstock, and attached the combined unit onto a White Daisy (1385) card.
- I added Sparkles to the middle of the punched medallions.
- I wrapped a piece of Lagoon Baker's Twine around the card, securing it with a knot.
- I added length of Lagoon Houndstooth Washi Tape (Z1850), ripped at one edge.
- From the Artiste Cricut cartridge (Z1790), I cut a Ruby (C5927) heart, which I attached to the card with dimensional tape.
- I stamped the sentiment, from the Mad About You (S1112) stamp set, in Black (Z2105) ink.
