February Stamp of the Month Team Blog Hop

The Pineapple Paper Artists are highlighting February's Stamp of the Month, A Happy Hello (S1502), in a new blog hop.  Whether you are just beginning your journey or you came here from Amy, The Pineapple Paper Artist, I hope you will continue on until you are inspired by everyone's artwork.

• I scatter stamped the images from this fun stamp set in Canary (Z2643), Juniper (Z2165), Glacier (Z2641), and Cranberry (Z2116) ink on a piece of White Daisy (1385) cardstock.
• I added a strip of B&T paper from the Heartstrings (X7193B) paper pack.
• Above the strip, I stamped the sentiment with Black (Z2105) ink.
• I attached the panel to a Canary (X5772) card and added a few Aqua Dots (Z1853) to the images.

• I used one of the fun designs from the Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge (Z3017) as the starting point of this card, cutting it out of Cotton Candy (X5760) cardstock.
• I attached circles from the Heartstrings (X7193B) paper pack behind a few of the cut-out circles and then added a panel of Lagoon (X5762) cardstock behind the entire front panel for an additional pop of color.
• I ran a length of Red Shimmer Trim (Z1848) across the card.
• I stamped the images on coordinating sized circles of White Daisy (1385) cardstock in Cotton Candy (Z2193), Hollyhock (Z2128), Cranberry (Z2116) , and Lagoon (Z2195) inks.
• With 3-D Foam Tape (Z1151) I layered the stamped circles on circles of Cranberry (1272), Hollyhock (1246), and Lagoon (X5762) cardstock and added them with a few Heartstrings B&T circles to the front of the card.
•  I finished it off with a few Aqua Dots (Z1853).

Color Dare #127: Black & White with Indian Corn Blue & Silver

Welcome to a new year of Color Dare Challenges from Color My Heart.  Each Friday the design team announces a color palette for you to use to create your project.  You can create any type of project you'd like, as long as you use the chosen colors.  If you don't have the actual Close To My Heart colors, just use a similar substitute.

Color Dare #127 - Black & White with Indian Corn Blue & Silver

I've been having a lot of fun playing with my Artfully Sent Cricut Collection (Z3017).  There are so many great images to choose, from fun and simple to WOW!

• I cut the chevron strip pocket card from Indian Corn Blue (1284) cardstock using the Artfully Sent Cricut Collection (Z3017).
• I stamped overlapping circles with Black (Z2105) ink onto the pocket card.  The images are all from one of my favorite older stamp sets, Connections (D1330).
• I attached a piece of Silver Shimmer Trim (Z1799) behind the chevron-shaped openings.
• I tied a piece of Black Baker's Twine (Z1921) around the card.
• I punched a circle of Silver Glitter Paper (Z1829) with the 1 1/4" circle punch (Z1311) and layered it onto the card with 3-D Foam Tape (Z1151).
• I punched another circle out of White Daisy (1385) cardstock, stamped the Hello Today image from the Reel Life (B1431) stamp set with Black (Z2105) ink, and layered it onto the card with 3-D Foam Tape (Z1151).
• I cut a piece of Black cardstock the same size at the pocket card, rounded the corners with the Corner Rounder Punch (Z1912), and layered it onto a White Daisy (1385) card with 3-D Foam Tape (Z1151).  I also rounded the corners on the card.

The Pineapple Paper Artists are showing off all the beautiful new paper packs, stamp sets, and embellishments of Seasonal Expressions with a great new blog hop.  Whether you are just beginning your journey or you came here from Amy, the Pineapple Paper Artist, I hope you will continue on until you are inspired by everyone's projects.

Inspired by the calendar and the new Seasonal Expressions Idea Book, this month's blog hop theme is Bring In The New!  So I used the new Heartstrings Paper Pack (X7193B) and Heartstrings Complements (X7193C) to create these fun cards.

• The 'you & me' card in the top right corner also features the Diamond Embossing Folder (Z3020) and Aqua Dots (Z1837).
• The typewriter card also features one of the Sparkles Clear Flourishes - Small (Z1812).
• You can find Ruby Baker's Twine, like on the 'sweet love' card in the Mini-Medley Accents Ruby Collection (Z1861).
