Color Dare #53 - Blush, Sorbet, & Gypsy

So proud to announce that I was 1st Runner Up for this Challenge!  Here's my winner's badge:

Since my early stamping days, I have loved medallion stamps.  I especially love the designs that are easily cut apart to create layers and layers of beauty.  So this new Classy Doily was the first thing I ordered from the new CTMH catalog.   Really, the stamp does all the work on this card, but I had to add a few accents to dress it up even further.  I'm having fun playing the the Artbooking Cricut cartridge and the intricate overlay designs.    I used part of the flourish stamp from the Hello Tweety stamp set in the two out corners.  I just masked out the bottom of the image to fit the space better.  And of course, I had to add lots of bling.   Hope you enjoy!

Color Dare #52 - Ruby, Twilight, and Olive

I missed posted for the last two weeks, so I wanted to make sure I took the challenge this week.  A triple threat...  Ruby, Twilight and Olive.  I played around a bit and actually made two different versions of the card.  I started off with the blue argyle print.  But it reminded me of those red-checked tablecloths, so I decided to try one using the ruby ink.  Which one do you like better?

I used my blender pen to color the cherries.

Color Dare #49 - Cranberry & Pacifica with White Daisy

Over the past few weeks, I've been inspired by some of the simple and elegant cards submitted to the challenge.  My vision veered off during the creation process, but I'm reasonably pleased with the final card.  Red, White & Blue is always fun to play with this time of year.  Have a great holiday!
