Spring Topiary Project

Can't wait to see all those spring flowers? Give Mother Nature a hand by making your own topiary. The new Close To My Heart milk carton makes the perfect base. Add some pictures of a favorite day and you have a great memento!

I mixed Create-A-Shade paint, petal re-inker, and water in a spray pen to create the purple spray paint for the milk carton. The Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge makes several different shaped flowers you can use for petals/buds.

Here's a tip... Cut a piece of styrofoam to fit the bottom your your milk carton. You can stick your flower stem into it to keep it secure. Then fill the rest of the milk carton with rice to weight it down (I put my rice in a plastic bag first!).
