Color Dare #136 - Pixie, Colonial White, Slate & Silver

Welcome to Color Dare Challenges from Color My Heart.  Each Friday the design team announces a color palette for you to use to create your project.  You can create any type of project you'd like, as long as you use the chosen colors.  If you don't have the actual Close To My Heart colors, just use a similar substitute.

Color Dare #136 - Pixie, Colonial White, Slate & Silver

There are so many beautiful stamp sets in the new Seasonal Expressions 2. Wavy Blooms (D1651) is just one of them.  Be sure to check them all out!

• I created a card out of Slate cardstock (X5930) and added a strip of Silver Shimmer Trim (Z1799) to the right edge.
• I embossed a panel of Colonial White cardstock (1388) with the Diamond Embossing Folder (Z3020).
• I stamped several flowers from the Wavy Blooms (D1651) stamp set with Slate ink (Z2173) on Pixie cardstock (X5773).  I added some shading to the flower with a slate colored pencil.  The flowers are attached to the the card with varying levels of 3-D Foam Tape (Z1151).
• The butterflies are cut from Slate cardstock (X5930) using the Artfully Sent Cricut Collection (Z3017) and attached to the the card with 3-D Foam Tape (Z1151).
• A few Sparkles (Z1752) brighten up the butterflies.
