Color Dare #146 – Barn Red, Glacier, & Juniper + Cocoa & Colonial White

Welcome to Color Dare Challenges from Color My Heart.  Each Friday the design team announces a color palette for you to use to create your project.  You can create any type of project you'd like, as long as you use the chosen colors.  If you don't have the actual Close To My Heart colors, just use a similar substitute.

Color Dare #146 – Barn Red, Glacier, & Juniper + Cocoa & Colonial White

It's never to early to celebrate Independence Day!

• I cut the star card from Colonial White (1388) cardstock using the Cricut Artfully Sent Collection (Z3017).
• I backed the star cut-outs with small pieces of Barn Red (X5637), Glacier (X5770), and Juniper (X5752) cardstock. I then added a full panel of Cocoa (X5642) cardstock to back the inside of the entire card front.  
• I cut banners from Barn Red (X5637), Glacier (X5770), and Juniper (X5752) cardstock.
• I stamped USA with Barn Red ink (Z2104) on Colonial White (1388) stars and attached them to Cocoa (X5642) stars.  I attached the layered stars to the card with 3-D Foam Tape (Z1151).
