Heart 2 Heart Challenge - Life is Good

I was honored to be selected as Heart 2 Heart's Top Chick in April for their Anything Goes challenge and my Hopscotch Flip Stand Album project.  As such, I was asked to be their guest designer for the month of July.  How exciting!

This week's challenge is 'Life is Good.  My interpretation is Life is Good When You Dream!  This 12" x 12" canvas was made with the beautiful paper from the Florentine paper pack from a few years ago.  It was such a beautiful piece of paper I couldn't bear to cut it up and had to do something special with it!

    What a great idea....so pretty. Are you going to frame this piece or use in a shadow box or what will you do with it now decorated? I know I've seen this paper in my daughter's many bins of paper and the colors are so soft and muted. She allows me to use any of her older papers...so maybe I'll have to go through her papers again.

      I used a 12x12 pre-stretched canvas. I painted the edges of the canvas in a coordinating green before I decorated it, so it is a completed piece as is. I have it hanging in my dining room. Hope you find some fun papers in your daughter's bins!

    By the way, really enjoyed seeing all your Guest Design creations this month. I will be Guest Designer for August, and like you, very proud of the invitation. I'm going on vacation next 2-3 weeks so I had to get all my projects done before I left...and I did. But I'll have my iphone with me to keep up on all the results of challenges.
