Color Dare #53 - Blush, Sorbet, & Gypsy

So proud to announce that I was 1st Runner Up for this Challenge!  Here's my winner's badge:

Since my early stamping days, I have loved medallion stamps.  I especially love the designs that are easily cut apart to create layers and layers of beauty.  So this new Classy Doily was the first thing I ordered from the new CTMH catalog.   Really, the stamp does all the work on this card, but I had to add a few accents to dress it up even further.  I'm having fun playing the the Artbooking Cricut cartridge and the intricate overlay designs.    I used part of the flourish stamp from the Hello Tweety stamp set in the two out corners.  I just masked out the bottom of the image to fit the space better.  And of course, I had to add lots of bling.   Hope you enjoy!

  1. Beautiful! Just beautiful!! I'm eyeing this stamp myself, and you might have pushed me over the edge with your card. Not sure I'm glad you linked it up at Color My Heart...might cost me another $10. LOL!

  5. WOW! What a stunning card, Gretchen! The layers look terrific and I love the Artbooking layer and shimmer trim. Those flourishes look really good in the corners too. Congrats on making such a wonderful card for us. I know I'll be seeing a lot more of your artwork at the Color Dare as a member of the Design Team! We are thrilled to have you join us!
