Color Dare #90: Honey, Indian Corn Blue, Outdoor Denim, Pacifica
I love an ombré and I find that blues often work together more easily than other colors, so I had a lot of fun creating a card with this week's palette!
- I started out with a Pacifica (X5759) card base and added a stamped White Daisy (1385) panel.
- The border was created using one of the small accent stamps in the Believe in Yourself (C1574) stamp set, stamped in Pacifica Ink (Z2192).
- I then added strips of Outdoor Denim (1275), Pacifica (X5759), and Indian Corn Blue (1284) cardstock.
- The butterflies are from the Love This (B1432) stamp set and were stamped in Outdoor Denim ink (Z2140) on the Honey colored printed paper from the Jubilee Paper Pack (X7181B).
- Some clear Sparkles (Z1752) and a strip of Silver Shimmer Trim (Z1799) add some shine.
Love it! The border is a great accent for the strips of cardstock. Love the delicate look of the butterflies on the right. Perfect card!
ReplyDeleteI love how you achieved an ombre look with paper strips! The butterflies stamped on Jubilee paper are a wonderful accent. Great job, Gretchen!
