The new Artfully Sent Cricut Collection (Z3017) is full of beautiful card creations. But I like to shake things up a bit, so I spend a lot of time searching through all the different elements available to see how I can use them in different ways to create unique projects.
- I started with a Barn Red (X5637) card. I used my Scallop Border Punch (Z1851) down the right side of both layers of the card.
- I shrunk the Artfully Sent interior pop-up card to fit as a panel on the front of a card. I cut it out of Goldrush (1243) cardstock, layered it on a piece of Colonial White (1388) cardstock, and attached it to the card with 3D Foam Tape (Z1151).
- I stamped "Amazing" from the Love This (B1432) stamp set in Barn Red (Z2104) ink on a piece of Colonial White (1388) cardstock, cut it into a banner shape, and attached it to the card.
- I added a banner-cut strip of Bronze Shimmer Trim (Z1849) below the other banner.
- I cut out one of the Artfully Sent pocket cards from Honey (X5668) cardstock, layered it on a piece of Colonial White (1388) cardstock, and attached it to the inside of the card.
- I cut the same pocket card from Barn Red (X5637) cardstock and put it aside for another project. I took all the Honey and Barn Red flower cut-outs to decorate the the front of the card.
- On the Goldrush (from the front panel) and Honey flowers, I stamped the swirly vine image from the Love This (B1432) stamp set with Barn Red (Z2104) ink. I created layered flowers on the card with 3D Foam Tape (Z1151)
This is beau-ti-ful! I love how you used the Artfully Sent pattern! I've looked at it in the booklet but just couldn't get a good visual. NOW I have one!
ReplyDeleteLove how you always think "outside the box", Gretchen. The front of your card looks great as does the inside. It's amazing just how versatile these cartridges can be when you play around with the sizes a bit!
