Color Dare #44 - Crème Brulee & Juniper

I was thrilled to be asked to be a guest designer for next week's color dare - crème brulee   and juniper.  I really enjoyed working with this lovely combination.  I'm definitely going to continuing playing around with it.  They work so well together.

I used generational stamping with the flower buds to create different shades of the two challenge colors.  The stems and leaves were created with second generation cocoa ink.  The other cocoa accents - paper, ribbon, pearls, and charm tie it all together.

This is one of my favorite new CTMH images.  I used the ever-versatile blender pen to add color to the image and dipped the edges of the color ready seam binding ribbon in the juniper ink.  You know I love my dimensional flowers, so I just had to add a few!

  1. Great cards, Gretchen!! Love how you've used so many techniques to add interest and variety. However, you neglected to mention that your vase is a CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT. How clever is that??? Thanks for being our guest designer at Color My Heart this week. You really stepped up and delivered a couple of home runs with these creations!
