Color Dare #98: Indian Corn Blue & Buttercup
For me, the heart of paper crafting is stamping. The first time I kissed rubber to paper, I was obsessed. But there are crafters out there that don't share my love of ink. So I decided to challenge myself this week to create a card without stamping. It was challenging, for sure!
- I started with a panel of White Daisy (1385) cardstock and embossed it with the Damask Embossing Folder (Z1927).
- I punched one edge of a Buttercup cardstock (1271) panel with the Scallop Border Punch (Z1851). I layered both panels onto a square White Daisy (1385) card.
- I cut Buttercup (1271) flowers from the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge (Z1686) and an Indian Corn Blue (1284) swirl from the Artiste Cricut Cartridge (Z1790).
- I finished off the simple layout with three Sparkles (Z1752) in the middle of the flowers.
Lovely card, Gretchen! I love your choice of Art Philosophy and Artiste cricut cuts and how great they look over the Damask embossed background.
