I decided that this month's theme, School Days, gave me the perfect opportunity to play with the chalkboard technique, as well as experiment with a couple of the lovely new ink colors in Annual Inspirations.
- The alphabet stamps are from the A Typeface (A1117) set. All other stamps are from the Reel Life (B1431) stamp set.
- On a White Daisy (1385) panel, I stamped the hexagon cluster with Canary (Z2643) ink. I adhered the panel to a Black (1386) card.
- A punched a strip of Lagoon (X5762) cardstock with the Chevron Border Punch (Z1998) and adhered it to the card.
- On a Black (1386) cardstock panel, I stamped the triple arrows, the U & R, and [Epic] in White Daisy Pigment (Z2163) ink. I drew a border with the Chalk Marker (Z1767) and added a Sparkles Chevron Shape (Z1909).
- I cut circles from White Daisy (1385) and Glacier (X5770) cardstock using the Artbooking Cricut Collection (Z1906). On the White Daisy (1385) circle I stamped Hello Today with Glacier (Z2641) ink. I them to the card with 3D Foam Tape (Z1151).
- I punched small 1/4" circles from Glacier (X5770) cardstock and glued them to the card.
Wow! Such a fun and trendy card! I love the chalkboard technique and the sparkle chevron really gives it a great look. Awesome
