Color Dare #113 - Cranberry, Canary, Glacier

Welcome to the weekly Color Dare Challenge from Color My Heart.  Each Friday the design team announces a color palette for you to use to create your project.  You can create any type of project you'd like, as long as you use the chosen colors.

Color Dare #113 - Cranberry, Canary, Glacier

I just picked up this beautiful stamp set and wanted to play.  The thing I liked most about the angel is that it could be used for a Christmas card, but could also be used for so many other occasions.
  • I started by repeatedly stamping a swirl from the Swirls Around (D1551) stamp set in Glacier (Z2641) ink on a White Daisy (1385) card.
  • I then stamped the angel from the hostess exclusive Sing Glory (C1587) stamp set in Glacier (Z2641) ink on a White Daisy (1385) panel.
  • I heavily inked the edges of both the card and panel with Glacier (Z2641) ink.
  • I added the sentiment "Rejoice" in Cranberry (Z2116) ink on the angel panel.
  • I layered the angel panel on a piece of Canary (X5772) cardstock and then on the card.
  • I cheated a bit with the Baker's Twine. The color is actually Creme Brulee, but I thought it looked close enough to Canary to count in this combo!
  • I finished up by blinging up my angel with a bunch of Bitty Sparkles (Z1263).  I may have overdone it!  :)
