Color Dare #111 - Sorbet, Cranberry, Pacifica, Lagoon, Olive

Welcome to the weekly Color Dare Challenge from Color My Heart.  Each Friday the design team announces a color palette for you to use to create your project.  You can create any type of project you'd like, as long as you use the chosen colors.

Color Dare #111 - Sorbet, Cranberry, Pacifica, Lagoon, Olive

My Cricut was humming this week as I cut the shapes for my card from the Artbooking Cricut Collection (Z1906).  Now I'm going to let you in on a little secret.  This delightful snowman has a lot of small pieces to it.  You could cut them all out of different colors of cardstock, but I didn't feel like switching that many colors on my mats.  So instead, I cut them all out of white cardstock and used my ink to color them!  The sentiment was the only piece I cut from colored cardstock.
How will this week's color combination inspire you?   Visit Color My Heart for more information about the challenge, get inspired by the design team, and upload your project.  I hope you'll join the Color Dare!

  1. Love your card! I just love how you made the background with the snowflakes, the rolling hills and the trees. The sparkles are a great touch too.

  2. Love your snowman. Great idea to color some of the pieces. Sometimes I don't feel like changing paper colors to cut either. I'll have to remember this tip!

  4. What an awesome card! I love the fact you colored all the snowman pieces with ink - you are so clever! (sorry if this is a duplicate comment as my computer did something wacky)
